The Mangalista's are the last surviving long curly haired breeds of pigs. They are a lard breed of pig that was developed in Hungary in the 1800's. Highly sought after for its smooth white fat and deep red meat.

Loofah for Days...
10/18/22 Had to harvest all the Loofah before our first frost on 10/19/22. Hoping they ripen in time.
Mooooove on over Chickens, here comes the cows!
10/13/22 Got our first 2 steers and 1 cow. Their names are Hulk, Luca & Brownie.

June 22' picked our first set of red potatoes with the girls and they had a blast looking for them like little Easter eggs.
Barrow's of Fun!
5-18-22 Julia having a ball in the wheelbarrow while Daniella and I take turns pushing her around in it. Chores turn into memories at the farm now. Extremely blessed!

5/12/22 A weekday trip to the Science Center where we learned that Julia shares her name with an orange butterfly. 5/14/22 Julia and I got to ride the front of the train at the Train Depot for the first time.

4/16/22 - Took some time away from the farm to partake in some Easter egg hunts and eat some sweet treats with the girls.
Take a Hike!
4/9/22 - Julia and I got to enjoy our hike on the trail at the new land. We enjoyed our day together flying a kite, playing frisby and catching grasshoppers. A very productive day enjoying God's creation and stepping outside to catch a breath of fresh air!
